Oskar is a personal assistant that works inside Telegram, together with the website getoskar.app and a Telegram mini-app (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Maxim Popov, acting as an individual ("we", "us").
Questions about privacy or your data: privacy@getoskar.app.
The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It stores your chosen language in your browser so the page opens in the same language next time.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. If you connect it, you grant the following scopes:
openid and email — your email address and basic
profile, used only to show you which account is connected;calendar.events — to read your calendar events and, when you
ask, to create new ones.We store the access and refresh tokens that let the Service reach your calendar. We do not store a copy of your calendar — events are read live from Google each time and are not saved.
Calendar event details may be included in the requests we send to our AI model providers (section 5) purely to produce your assistant's reply — for example, to tell you how busy your day is. We do not use Google user data to train, improve, or develop any AI or machine-learning model, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it or transfer it to anyone other than the providers needed to deliver the feature you asked for.
Oskar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect your Google account at any time in the Oskar mini-app settings, which deletes the stored tokens, or revoke access directly in your Google account permissions.
We use a small number of service providers to run Oskar:
Your conversations, notes and tasks are stored on a private server located in Switzerland, with access restricted to the operator. As described in section 5, parts of your data are transmitted to providers in other countries while the Service is running.
We keep your data for as long as you use the Service, and delete it when you ask us to. Google tokens are deleted as soon as you disconnect your Google account. Early-access form submissions are kept until we no longer need them to respond to you.
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — including deleting everything and closing your access. You can disconnect Google at any time, and you can stop using the Service at any time. To make any of these requests, email privacy@getoskar.app.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on an access-controlled server. No service can guarantee perfect security, but we limit access to what is needed to operate Oskar.
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
