Terms of Use

Effective date: 6 August 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Oskar — a personal assistant that works inside Telegram, together with the website getoskar.app and the Telegram mini-app (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Maxim Popov, acting as an individual ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

Oskar is an AI assistant. You talk to it in Telegram, and it captures and keeps track of your tasks, commitments, notes and goals, and — if you connect Google Calendar — reads and creates calendar events on your request.

3. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old. You need your own Telegram account, and you are responsible for keeping your Telegram and Google accounts secure. Please give us accurate information when you request access.

4. Access and price

The Service is currently in a limited early-access period, available by invitation and provided free of charge. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we will publish their terms and prices before they apply to you, and you will never be charged without agreeing first.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not:

6. Your content

Everything you send to Oskar — your messages, notes, tasks and calendar data — remains yours. You give us permission to store and process it, including sending it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy, only in order to operate the Service for you. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.

7. AI output and your own judgement

Oskar's replies are generated by AI models and may be incomplete, outdated or simply wrong. It may misread a request, miss something, or create or change a calendar event incorrectly. Nothing it produces is professional advice — legal, medical, financial or otherwise. Please check anything important before you rely on it; decisions you make and actions you take are your own responsibility.

8. Third-party services

The Service runs on top of Telegram and, optionally, Google. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. If they change or restrict their services, parts of Oskar may stop working.

9. Availability and warranties

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. It is early-access software: it may be unavailable, lose functionality, or change at any time. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, and we will give you reasonable notice where that is practical.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, missed commitments, or lost or corrupted data arising from your use of the Service. Please keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your data by emailing privacy@getoskar.app. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the Service.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will publish the new version on this page and update the effective date above. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
